Strangers
Strangers, Strangers, Strangers we were,
In daily dangers, we could not defer
Danger in Knowing that if we were caught
We'd have been blowing what we had sought.
I moved far away from you
Far away from the fray and the danger too
After fifteen years, you were there with a smile
Bringing back those fears from across the miles
Matured are your looks, Matured is your attitude
Nothing in the books could prepare me for the gratitude
Gratitude for the time to spend reminiscing of days gone
Of days I don't want to contend, Days from which I am withdrawn
Timing was wrong then for us love for all is desirable
Nothing was more obvious that love for us is unreachable
Commitments you don't desire and I belong to another
Even though I aspire to love you, but will you bother?
Strangers we were, strangers we remain you don't bother to acquire
Of my hopes and dreams, In vain I pray for your fire
With me you can let your fire show but you are too afraid
To let your emotions be bold So, strangers we will remain!
