What's Happen'n?

Well, not sure what 2011 will bring. I spent part of 2010 unemployed, then I took several part time jobs. The CNA clinical instructor job was supposed to be every other week, but ended up being one week a month for three out of five months. I finally got a call from Bryan Psych Hospital for a job interview. It went well, apparently because i was offered a part time job. I should start in January (next week). I hope this job will be better than any job I have had.
On that note, do you know how many jobs I have had? OMG!!!! Too many! I have worked at Krogers, Arby's, Amoco, Babtist Hospital, Richland Hospital, Columbia Care Center, Rikards Nursing Home, CMTucker, Life Care Center, several home health agencies, the Prisons (all over the state), detention center in Aiken,Carolina Children's Home, and Lowman Home. I have in my life time been a babysitter, a landscaper, a sandwich maker, a cashier, a bagger, a Certified Nursing Assistant, a nurse, a nurse supervisor, a substitute nurse, and a substitute teacher! Makes me exhausted thinking about them all.
Oh and don't forget A Student! As an adult student I have been through four colleges: Midland's Tech, Columbia College, South University, and now, Ashford University. And yet, I still have no degree (but a Certificate in Nursing!) I have tried to pursue a Bachelors in Nursing, Biology, and now English. Can you imagine the student loan bill?!? I will probably be dead before it gets paid off!

So, anywhoo...I start in January at Bryan Psych (only 4 hours a day), and will still be working every weekend at Carolina Children's Home. And, I will still be working towards my English Degree. I so hope I can find a teaching job after I graduate.

I am still living with my in laws (with my four kids)...and one boy's girlfriend. That makes 9 people in one house! There are also four dogs in and outside the house, and eight cats! This is a wild house. But I'm praying that this year I will make enough money to buy a piece of land and a mobile home. I also pray I can find a reliable affordable vehicle.
I am praying that Timmy and Chris will get their driver's licenses...And, well...I have many prayers...and many praises! I am so happy for all the experiences I have had...I am delighted in all the friends in my life!
I will not lie, I am still trying to find JOY in life...I am still trying to trust myself, to love myself, and to accept the life I have been dealt and the choices I have made. I am not perfect, never will be, and I am okay with that!
Happy New Years!!!!
