Five o'clock
Everyone to their exits
Parking lot empties
Orange globe
Blinds us all
Rap blasts to the left
Blue lights roll to the right
Red light, STOP
Green light, GO
No one moves!
5 o'clock Rush!
Church on the left
High Rise on the right
Like Inch Worms
Crawling slowly
STOP!
Inch, Inch, Inch
Horns blast on the Left
Bus loads on the right
5 o'clock Rush
Orange globe disappears
See the cars inch
twenty minutes more
To Home Sweet Home
Through 5 o'clock Rush
