For who ever reads these things, and cares (LOL):
Recently, I completed my British Lit classes at Ashford University, and my CNA clinical instruction for the year. I was offered a new job at Bryan Psych. It will start (orientation) Jan 4th 2011, I will be working 6am-10am daily Monday thru Friday, and the clients are the same as I am used to - the elderly. This job will give me guaranteed 80 hours a month, plus some. And all I will have to do is pass medication, so no stress!
I am now 30 credits away from graduation at Ashford. I can not wait to get my Bachelors Degree, and starting working on a Masters in Education, so I can teach.
I am another month closer to being the mom of a High School graduated child (June 4th, and counting the days!!!).
Last week I spent two hours on the corner of Gervais and Huger Sts, with a car and a dead alternator. The alternator ended up costing us $720, which decreases my Christmas fund significantly.
When I finish my paper, for my Eng class, I will post is next (It is about meeting my mom about 15 years ago).
I am a little depressed because tomorrow is Michael's Birthday and I don't know where he is or how he is doing. Also, next month is the 27th anniversary of Daddy's death. I still wonder, if Daddy was here, would Michael have ended up the way he did.
On the upside, Moma and I have a totally strange and new relationship. She is friendly now, and we seem to have gotten over my tumultuous teen years, and her years of depression.
This Christmas will be a busy one, as I ready myself for the new year. Will there be any new resolutions? And how successful will I be at them? Why do a new resolution, if I wont stick with it? LOL
Ok, those are my thoughts for now...I have now got to go tend to this sore throat and disappearing voice.

Yay for all the good things in your life! I've found that as people get older, they tend to mend fences, so I'm glad that you're developing a new relationship with your mother. And I had no idea that you hadn't heard from Michael in some time! Happy Thanksgiving, my wonderful friend!
ReplyDeleteMichael:
ReplyDeleteI have not seen or heard from Michael in almost 15 years. I do not miss Him (exactly), so much as I miss the person he was many years ago.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too...And to your family.
